Knowing this place is home for the next few months already has me grinning from ear to ear! To say I am excited about it would be a complete understatement! There is so much to see, do, and explore out here - its hard to keep my To Do List organized at all!

I started simple today because my first three days had me exhausted - and so while it was a slow start this morning I was convinced by a friend that I still needed an adventure! And they were right!

I started with the Saguaro Trail in Tonto National Forest. It was only supposed to be a 2.4mile In-and-Out and while the trail on the map ended - the one I was hiking did not. I ended up taking the Saguaro Trail to the Twisted Sister (Upper) to the Twisted Sister (Lower) to the Mesquite Trail to the Salt River Social Trail. A lovely large loop I had no intention of taking but now have zero regrets about!

I shall conclude this post with a smile on my face and an excitement in my heart for everything else this state has to show me!
